~Melody of Winter Contest~

_{Rules:

The idea and theme of the contest is 'melody of winter' and that means you must produce a new artwork that reflects lyrics to a song or poetry which reminds you of winter or snow falling. You must submit a new artwork. No old artworks will be allowed and no poetry or literature will be allowed. Everyone want to see some new inspiration and so do I so I don't want to see anything old. There will be no exceptions to this rule! Also if your art does not reflect the lyric or poetry you've you used or a winter them then you art will be rejected because it does not fit within the theme of the contest.

You must add at least part of the song or piece of poetry you have selected to base your artwork from. Make sure you credit the original singers, bands or writters on your work. Their work is copywritten and they deserve proper credit.

Your art may be whatever media you chose - photomanipulation, pencil drawing, painting, colouring pencils, markers or whatever you want. You may use your own poetry or song for this artwork.

To submit your contest entry please just leave a comment on my front page letting me know your artwork is finished and provide a link back to the work so I can see it and upload it to the journal here. Either that or note me with link to your work.

Contest deadline is Febuary 1st. There will be no more extended deadlines after this. You may only submit *one* entry however you may upload a revised or different artwork if you feel your art could be better.

Prizes:

- 1st Place - One year subscription + special stock package from ~prizepack-stock

- 2nd Place - Three months subscription

- 3rd Place - One month subscription

All Enteries will recieve a journal feature from me as well as, *MrsCullen and *elestrial

Voting:

I will be making the final decision on which three entries deserve the prizes. Winners will be based on overall appeal, effort, detail, contrast and also how well their poem or lyrics work with their art.}
